TRIPLETS
In 2015 I realized that my UP IN ARMS watercolors are more potent when grouped in threes, which I call Triplets. The objects being held aloft engage in a conversation that viewers can sense. Almost any combination will work. Even re-sequencing the three paintings will change the conversation. Here’s a portfolio of proposed Triplets.
